Anybody with a sheild press in the Laurel, Md Area?

Guys,

I have a buddy that needs to make a custom case for a set of pan pipes. They live in the southwestern the case pretty much needs to be made with a pair of curved pieces of wood about fifteen inches square.

I immediately thought "Sheild press!". But my buddy is in Maryland, and I am in Bavaria.

My buddy has not bought the pipes yet, but I wanted to be able to tell them that it was possible to make a case.

2 hours 8 minutes south of me. There is probably someone in Storvik who has one who is closer. If not I could glue up some lauan and mail it to him... assuming that the shape I have is decent for him and he wants lauan or birch-plywood.
