Chainmail issues

I have gotten feedback on some of the mail I have been sending out. For the most part it has been very good. The flat ring mild and stainless mail seems to be excellent.

The 6mm mail has had some issues. This is a new product for our manufacturer. I have been in contact with them about this and they are going to replace any mail that is defective.

If anyone has any issues with their mail, please let me know so I can take care of it for you.

Regards,

Andreas

Your Grace,

I have a few 12-24 rings that either have no rivit, loose rivit, or miss-punched rivit.

Cheers

Here is the scoop- With over 20,000 rings in a haubergeon it might be likely that you might have 10-20 loose rivets. If this is the case, I will be happy to send rivets and/or rings to you for repairs if you like.

Any more than that is unacceptable as far as I am concerned. I will replace the item if there seems to be more issues than that. I have contacted the manufacuterer and told them that is what I will be doing. They will be backing me up on this, so it is no sweat off of my back to take care of you if you have any issues. The only cost will be shipping.

At present, I do not have 6mm or stainless rivets in stock but I will have these on the next shipment coming at the end of the month. Our manufacturer tells me that he will tighten up things on his end to make sure that this is not an ongoing issue. As always we will stand behind our product and take care of our customers.

I am sorry for any inconvenience.

Regards,

Andreas

I understand and agree. I was figuring on 20k rings having a dozen or 2 wonky wasn't a huge deal. Yes I wouldn't mind the loose rings ( when you have them in ) and if more are needed, I will make a purchase. I am bound to do a repair SOMETIME in the future ;)

I do want to reitterate that I am pleased with the product. Especially how they are packed, would make it extreemly prohibitive to check each product before being sent out.

Cheers
