Panther Primitives makes great getelds. Not sure if they can make Pennsic delivery, but it is worth a try.

Unfortunately those don't actually look like getelds.
I don't know what equipment or facilities you have access to Mongotzu but you could try making one. I made one and it is not that hard. If you don't think you can make one, you can do what one member of my local Regia Anglorum group did and buy the canvas, draw out the schematics and pattern then bring them to a shop that repairs sails and boat covers and hire them to sew it. You probably could not do this before penssic but if you want a Geteld that actually looks like a Geteld then that is the way to go.
pattern and stuff here.

Same here. They look very similar to the geteld I saw in England and like others I have seen.
Unless I have only seen getelds that are not getelds.

Thanks for the suggestion. This Pennsic is a bling and stuff run for the folks back home (Saskatchewan, Alberta) who can't make the war.
I'm bringing back buckles, buttons, trim etc. etc. Also keeping an eye out for tents/pavillions. In a place where nylon is the rule. The more canvas the better.
Last year I found three reaallllyyy good deals on pavillions that were up for sale due to people:
A. unhappy with tent, going to a X
B. thinning kit
C. G.A.F.I.T.ing. So the pavillion was first up for dibs.
D. Life jumped them put the boot in and they needed the cash.
or all of the above.

Actually, if you go to the Panther Primitives page and click the Catalog 17 link, you'll find a geteld of the type described in the links you provided on Page 29, You'll need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view it, though.
Panther generally brings models of their tents with them to Pennsic for sale--and I'm certain they'd be happy to build a custom geteld for you.

I'm looking for a geteld, too, except I won't be at Pennsic.

I retract my statement. the Panther Getelds do indeed look like Getelds.
I was looking at the pics of the tent that they advertise on the products page as the "Norman Saxon wedge tent" and assumed that was the tent being discussed. Thats what I get for assuming. sorry folks.
