I have about 300 (I'll get a more accurate count if there is interest) spring steel lamallar plates. They are all hand made from shipping strap. I got them from Stephan who posts his hilts and such here. He did a great job! I'd say they are about 20ga. I don't know any specifics about the process he used. Plates are about 3 inches by 1 1/4. They all have a bit of surface rust.
I'm looking to get .60 cents per plate.
