Hail! I have a pair of your leg armor (one of your early pairs) that I managed to aquire a while back that I use for jousting now. My wife was using them for SCA, and she had cut the support rivets for the attachement of the greaves to the cuisses. Now, that is great for SCA fighting, but a bummer for actually using them on horseback where the pins actually work awesome.
Is there a chance you could give me some pointers on how you created the L shaped pins on the greaves so that I can replace them?
Thanks!!

Greetings,
I'd be curious which legs they are. If you have a photo. I'd love to see them. My guess on the rivit/turning pin is probably a 3/16" dia. rivet chucked into a drill and used like a lathe to cut a slight step/ shoulder with a file. Then hammer the head somewhat flat from the side & file the back flat / inline with the shank of the rivet. I'll try to do a quick walk through later tonight or some drawing to illustrate.
