I went to the local sports store to replace all my old ducttaped pads and such -and spent $126! I remember when I use to replace all my pads for $20 or less. Maybe I don't want to get off my butt and start fighting again!
What does this have to do with classifieds you ask? Well do you think there would be a market for homemade pads here on the AA because I can make a killing if I roll up my sleeves and get to work......

Yep, if you'll add a small pad mid-joint to take care of the "points" of the elbow/knee. I bought hexpads for knees and elbows, and they are great if they don't slip one ... half ... inch. After having once lost full use of my right arm for a couple of weeks when my pad slipped and a shot drove my fan into the outside elbow point, I'm a big fan (nyuk, nyuk) of good padding coverage.

Here in RI at sports authority we can get the Nike knee and elbow pads for 10 to 15 buck a set. I prefer these pads because they have a diamond shape that fits in elbow cops very well, they are black and tend to blend in with my brown armour , and lastly they have padding on the sides as well as the front of the knee/elbow. Im sure if you check out the online store you may be able to find some good deals.

Yeah, thats what I bought. At $17 a pop -thats $68. Add the 10% tax and thats almost $75 just for the pads. WOW!!
I managed to get them all put together though last night and if they work out (and last a while) I will be happy. They are 100% better then what I was using......
