FS: Stainless & Brass Spangenhelm

I've changed from early period to late period, but I'm not allowed to buy a new helm until I sell the current one.
Custom made by Waldryk. 14ga riveted stainless all over with Thor's hammer cross pieces. Brass cheekplates and ocular. Slat back. Welded grill. Mirror finish. No dents.
It has been taped inside to cover rivet butts that eat hair. It fits me fine with a 23" head. I will leave the padding and current chin strap in place. You can use or remove them as you like.
Although the helm may look a little tape smeared and dulled with oxidation in the photos, it has since been cleaned and polished back to its original brilliance. You need sunglasses to stand near this thing on a sunny day. I have always appreciated the airflow and the ability to hear while wearing this helm. The available range of vision is also quite excellent.
I am asking $500 for this beauty. Breaks my heart to see it go, we've had fun together, but it'd look really out of place with an angel-wing surcoat and fluted armor (and the spousal foot has been put down on the matter).
Will ship from Eugene, OR (97401) via FedEx Ground. Exact shipping will depend on where you live. I'll send it the least expensive way possible.
