I had a stock norman about 2/3 done lying around that was from a run I did about 2 years ago, I started to finish it off a recent WTB inquiry from Adamo here on the archive but alas, it was a little too big for the fighter. So I got it here, I am looking for $250, plus applicablr shipping, it is a 13GA bowl, 14 GA balance. I'll get final sizing info later this evening, now I will be at about 3 selling venues this weekend and I'll be taking this with me, so if you want it, speak up, sales are picking upI,so I might even consider a payment plan. IIRC, it's about a 28" circumference bowl, so I would figure about a 23.5 head.

You can't by any chance put a chinstrap on it?

I would be happy to make one but not install it, I don't have you present to attach it to the correct location. There are SCA armour making venues in the at least the Balto area that could help you with that. I'm sure that some here can speak up about the status of the Reistertown "shop night"
BTW, where are you in MAryland?

Is it Stainless or Mild steel? If SS, I may be interested.

We do an SCA armoring fix-it shop on Thursday nights up in College Park (a little over an hour drive for you). I think there are some new guys in your area that come up on Mondays and the head of the household lets them use the shop because they have school/work on Thursdays.
Let me know if you're interested. We are always happy to getting new people in armor, especially if you're looking to do SCA combat. If you're new to the SCA, you can check the local barony (Dun Carraig) and see if they have a more local armoring night (I'm not sure if they have one) that works for you.

Excellent! Brother Bear, if our respective ladies get their "sewing circle" date hammered out, we'll do your chinstrap that day. I think I have everything I need - and if I don't, I will by then.

Got to the party late.
Any chance that helm is still available?
Thanks...it is a nice looking piece.
Cheers!

Unfortunately, the check cleared this afternoon and I will ship tomorrow, but I would entertain an order of one for slightly more.
