That is quite a shame. I went with a local blade smith for my voulge and Albion for my sword. After seeing this I am glad.

$400 gone, 3 years gone by, no communication & yet he's partnered with IceFalcon and doing weapons for the BoTN?

Wonder if Ice will assist you in recovering your money?

BKS is a small shop...I think it is a matter of them having taken too much on and then life happened. We all know how that goes. With that said, maybe a call and a visit to the shop might speed things along. The Stagmers aren't bad people, I think they just fell on some hard times. It happens.

Over on SBG, I am not sure if they've wrapped that project up yet...that was at least two years in the running.

Well, cept this was "rusty armour lying around".. Whonew sent the money for shipment three years ago... The armour never made it to him. See thread where Kerry put this up for sale..

Did you send the $400 you bid plus the money to ship these items to Canada? I will contact Kerry as soon as I am locked on to the full details.

April 09 auction won , $400 sent same day
made numerous tries to get a total from Kerry with no response
fall of 10 I got a small box of BADLY rusted plate and bits
I was informed the stuff was in a garage that the roof caved in from snow , hence the serious rust crust
The balance of material is probably scrap by now.
I've mostly given up on these guys at Baltimore Sword and Knife I just think everyone who is interested in doing business with them should know it's BUYER BEWARE!

2 1/2 years +, Yes they finally did last year after summer. I was the last of the 3 left.
Even though there was more excuses & side stepping by them, i do believe they got in way over they're heads,life happened & they just did not handle it well at all.......I don't feel they are bad people, just horrible business people......great smiths though.

However i will not buy from them again ever and even though I like my 1st sword from BKS, don't know if I would buy they're s even thru another dealer.......

WOW, still nothing .......I thought that they were finally sending your stuff last year mid.......
They should pop you a refund by now.....of course if they aren't getting back to you like the prob's we had over at SBG, there is only so many times they can use the same excuses they did with us on you.

Sorry bro, somehow by now I doubt they will make good on this with you if they haven't at least refunded or sent something......

It's a shame when this cr*p happens, money could be spent else where........hope you get somewhere with this & they do you right in the end.

Even though you have no responsibility in this, nice of you to become involved in this for Whonew......

I just hope that the BKS can get it together in the future, as they are great smiths with some awesome looking sword designs & I do love my sword from them, they just need to stop & complete a project or promise before continuing onward. I can understand a small shop & the need to always keep plugging along with a product that has a small market in this economy to pay they're bills,etc........ but 2-3 years going by waiting for something simple, is just not cool.

Thank you. They will build items and I will stock and sell them. You know your money is safe with us. We will give you wither your gear or your money back if we cannot deliver. These guys are awesome smiths and truthfully would rather stay in their shop making awesome swords and weapons than sell to the public. So here I am...

I have seen this with a couple other "artists". It seems His Grace has filled a niche of business manager, while letting them be creative. Overall, I see this as a win-win-win. They get to do what they love, His Grace adds more business, and we have a reputable dealer to work with, while still getting beautiful stuff.

Not talking down about anything out of his own shop, just reflecting on what I have noticed.

It is a fact. The artists who work for me have more skill than I do in creating.

I just saw this...now that I understand I'm even more puzzled...still, good thing Icefalcon was able to be the bridge.
