New Aluminum Gaunts FS
Posted: Wed Apr 29, 2009 12:33 am
The next installment of the termite sale...
An updated version of the aluminum gauntlet pattern.
12g aircraft aluminum.
fixed 3/4 cuff
Soft articulation, except for the thumbshield, which is a rivet articulation.
Instead of leather, I used heavy duty nylon webbing, with the edges and holes melted to seal them. wrapped in electrical tape for added stiffness and to hide the color. I chose the webbing for the longevity and stability. The webbing won't stretch, decay or tear out a rivet.
I put a subtle flair on the cuff for added strength.
I use a wrist, palm and finger strap in my pair, and have a panel of 1/4inch neoprene for padding
I'm asking for $100 plus shipping.
Let me know if anyone has any questions.
Thanks for looking
