I have a barbute/ Celata for sale. It is made in one piece raised. Only worn a couple of times. Has some small scratches and scuff marks on the skull. Could be polished out and reblued if you needed though not by me.

Has a leather spider installed (Matthew Bayley, highly recommended) as it's a little tight for me but would ideally fit about 62cm head, a little smaller with a padded liner.

It was made by Ralph Snel of Sweden.

It pains me to sell it but needs must.

Sorry about the blurry pics. More are on the way.

Ideally i'd like £850 or $1287 for my American friends :-)

I may consider offers.

Its $1287 man.

It is a cool hat, one that I would love to add to my collection, but if I spent that kind of jack on a helmet I would have to live in it because my wife would divorce me and kick me out of my home.

Times is tough.

Hi Thomas,

It's a lovely helm and very well made, but unfortunately not many people can afford to spend this much on quality gear. I've seen it happen several times on the LHF with other sellers too. It's not my kind of thing, and also unfortunately for you it's a style most people dislike. (Which makes it even more cool to own it and use it, IMO!!)

I hope you can find a good home for it.

I do understand it is a lot of money at this time but good work costs money i'm afraid.

It would make a nice display model :-D

Looks like i'll be displaying it a little longer.
