Bad review on myself

Hello to all,

I would like to give myself a bad review. I have been in a hurry lately and I have not been doing the best work on some of my orders, but I do always correct the problem. I think that I have a good time line on my work but sometimes people really make me feel the need to hurry. I want to keep my customers happy, so in an effort to please people I have rushed a few items. This has led to products I am not happy with and left me stressed.

I now have a really good person helping me out in the shop, so I am doing some changes to make things a little better for my piece of mind.

I will post the changes here in the near future. If you have not been to my site before or you have not been there as of late, it has been updated a little. There are more pictures in the gallery, and for those who are curious as to what I look like, there is a picture of me with my baby girl at Blackstone Raids on the in-stock page.

Thanks and have a good day

Jackie

Hope I haven't been one of the one rushing you, Jackie, and if so I apologize. Sometimes I get a little excited about the prospect of new toys. :D

Jackie:

Don't make us head down there and beat some relaxation into ya!

Maybe you could consider doing the "Scotty" thing and padding your time estimates a bit to give yourself some leeway and enough built-in scheduling flexibility to handle contingencies and such -- your time-to-completion and timeliness are so great already, that nobody rational or worth doing business with would ever be bothered with your adding a little extra time to schedules (except for the extremely rare true "emergency" deadline orders) to ensure you could better balance work commitments with life (sufficiently to ensure no ulcers, at least).

I know how personally and seriously you take all your work, and how hard you try to please your customers... but I know I would consider it a personal favor if you also tried to balance your own needs a bit -- and maybe get in your own armour more to start hitting folks (we need you practiced for Pennsic)...

Your friend,

Max Von Halstern

Jackie,
I just wish I would have been able to make it down to your shop to see a few of these beautiful pieces in person before them being shipped out... darn that working 55 hours a week.

You know it is really hard to find someone you can trust, and that has the drive and talent to make armor.

Max

What can I say, but bring it on  so you can kick my ass some more.

I am really working on balancing my time out, especially with the new baby that was due on the 10th of this month.

And you my friend, are a true friend
