Just as the title says.
Looking for pics of visored bascinets that do not have the standard pig face, houn skull, klapp visors.
Would like to see any pics of this type helm that has a side pivot visor more like the sugar loaf type of visor.
I saw a pic of one helm and can not for the life of me find it again.
Thanks!

Thanks, Cian. That is a very cool visor but not one for sca fighting and a bit on the late side for me. What I am looking for is a flat visor though.

Eadric,
Thanks! The first pic is the one I had seen in another post.
Are their any period examples that you got that from? Is it supposed to be early 14th?
Any information on it would be great.

If I am remembering correctly it was from some pictures in the Romance of Alexander (1340s). It has several examples of visored bascinets of this style. Since our household is a crusading order I went with one of the examples that had a cross.
There were several others with neat cut outs in the eye slots or other unique bits.
