looking to have an Isabella E banner made and I would like to add in latin

"Family, Friends & Faith"


Any help with this would be much appreciated.

"Familia, Amici, et Fides"?

Do you mean faith as a synonym for religion or in the sense of faithfulness (to your knight / king / God, whatever)?

If you mean faithfulness, fidelitas might be better. Fides is more in the sense of trust or belief.

So:
familia amici et fidelitas (or fides)
OR (same meaning, different construction):
familia amici fideliasque (or fidesque)

The English version is alliterative, but the Latin version as rendered is not.

An alternate term for "friend" is "Familiaris"

The simple nominative plural is "Familiares."

With that substitution, you get FAMILIA FAMILIARES ET FIDELITAS

or FAMILIA FAMILIARES FIDELITASQUE

or simply FAMILIA FAMILIARES FIDELITAS

Just saying.

Technically, both familia and amici alliterate on an 'M,' while familiares alliterates on the 'A' of -ares (alliteration follows the dominant stress of the word). Fidelitas alliterates on 'D.' But familiares is much more visually satisfying, which may be more important on a banner.
