Thanks Len! Do you have any other written information? This does much to explain the two laces called for in the King's Mirror, in my view.
Steve, I think the sewing/lacing together would have to be done after the chauces and hauberk were separately donned, as a last minute battle preparation, but I could be wrong.

Seems to be a lengthy description of the disputes from opening a priest's grave, but indicates satin embroidered chauses.

Restoration was reportedly done in 1968, and the calzas are now at the Museo de Telas Medievales de Burgos per one source, and at the Cistercian Abbey of Santa Maria de Huerta,
