The inventory contains a great number of books and fabric, but it seems the majority of his armor went on campaign with him.

j. petite prente ove foilles dargent ove j. frountele de Saye pur j. bacynet.
1 small prente with silver leaves, and a frontlet of silk for 1 bascinet.

Pur le COUNTE de HEREFORD
of the Count of Hereford

and 1 haubergeon called "Bolioun". (Bolognese mail?, bullion - silver bars?)
et j. peire des plates covertes de vert velvet,
and 1 pair of plates covered in green velvet,

2 Jupons
ij. cotes d'armes le Counte.
2 coats of arms of the Count. (heraldic surcoats)
iiij. peire de alettes des armes le Counte de Hereford,
4 pair of ailettes with the arms of the Count of Hereford,

ij. bacynettes. lun covert de quir. lautre bourni.
2 bascinets, the one covered with leather, the other burnished.

j. corset de fer.
1 corset of iron. (likely a mail "vest")
j. coverture pur j. chival des armes de Hereford,
1 covering for 1 horse, with the arms of Hereford.

Effigies and Brasses has two different effigies attributed to the 4th Earl of Hereford.
This seems to be the most likely candidate to be the correct one.

An image, likely of the 6th Earl of Hereford, appears in Oxford Christ Church MS 92, fo.60v from 1326-1327, though the arms are reversed.
