My wife and I started studying Latin this week by joining an on-line class - it's free (except for the textbooks) and is quite enjoyable so far. I'm looking for something similar to supplement my study of ancient Greek, but haven't found anything yet.

For more info on the Latin class, go to http://www.ravendays.org/latin/aspergonem.html

BTW, we're in the Purple group (one chapter every two weeks - entire text/course in two years). The Gold group will finish the course in four years.

Reinhard,

Medieval Swiss WAS southern german dialect.
What time period? If it was before 15thC no problems!.

Except perhaps for medieval french to the north.
