Ok, so Genesis 1:5 only barely relates with my question, but I thought it would make a catchy title.

So, the question:

How many days were there in a year according to the Byzantine calender?

My books don't say, but I only have 3 books currently (that has GOT to change...).

Well I'm guessing that they used the julian calendar, as they are essentially transplanted romans. it also follows that they were before the gregorian "correction" to our calendar...
