Tower of London Contact anyone?

Does anyone here know anyone who works at the Tower, or the new place at Leeds?

We're getting ALOT of British and French trade guns from the 1700's through the lab lately, and I'd REALLY REALLY REALLY like to have some better quality reference info for the lab on the proof marks we're finding on the barrels and locks.

Since all the marks would (I would think...) have to be registered I'm betting the tower folks have a really nice list/graphic representation of all the proof marks of firearms of British (and probably French) origins.
I'll go the letter writing route if I have to, but if anyone has someone I can e-mail, it would make things faster, and I'd sure appreciate it.

Thanks for your time!

Hi Vermin,

I have contacts in the RA in Leeds, amongst the interpretive staff. The auxiliary site at Ft. Nelson would probably be more involved with the aspects you are seeking information on, but I should be able to get you a direct contact to someone who would specialize in that field.
