I would like to thank all of the folks who came and helped make Hastings XXXV a success. The wargear was consistently good, and some folks did an excellent job on their kit. Many folks came many miles towing horses, boats, tents, displays, merchant booths, musical instruments and sound systems and other equipment to present a picture of medieval life, and especially 11th century life, to the public. My gratitude goes out to all who came, all who wanted to come but were otherwise obligated, and all who lent us support in this endeavor. I would especially like to thank the Longship Company for serving as the primary sponsor, Midgard for assisting in the promotion and communications, and all of our historic camps: Vinland, Ostvik, 15th Century, Anglo-Saxon and even the Normans!
We look forward to seeing what the Markland Hastings XXXVI committee pulls together for next year. I hope that I've provided a firm basis to grow from.
Ut!
