Is anyone aware of translations of Jehan de Wavrin's Chronicles 1399-1422 other than that by Sir W. hardy and E. Hardy 1887?

I'm particulary interested in his account of Agincourt.

short answer is IMO there is none.
I did my masters thesis on the guys text a few year past. I found no other translation.
I think they do not exist.
(Or I screwed my research:-))

On the Agincourt part you might compare the original with the translation, both have been published in the Rolls series.

There are other editions of his texts in French, but they are not of help to you?

Having the original to compare with the translation would be helpful as would texts in French. I don't read French but I know some folks who could translate for me. I'm primarily interested in the passage in which de Wavrin states "... the French began to hold down their heads, especially those who had no bucklers, for the impetuosity of the English arrows ...no one durst uncover or look up..."

this implies that at least some of the French men-at-arms carried shields of some sort which falls afoul of the conventional wisdom tha men armed cap-a-pie had largely dispensed with shields by this time. I'd like to know what word is being translated as "bucklers' to get a better understanding of what type of shields were being used.
