X post from Armour Battle of Wisby Armour

Finally got around to ordering a copy of this lastnite. Hopefully it will be here next week to help me in construction of my harness. Does this have a good section on helms? Also why do I always hear that the armour used in this battle was out-dated, but for a historically correct impression your armour should fit within the exact time frame?
