Lace Chapes (x-post)

Post by Black Swan Designs »

We just got these in yesterday and since they are such a brass plated PITA to make I thought some of you might be interested -

Lace Chapes

Lace Chapes, package of 12
#SL-LC01

Conical copper alloy "chapes" to cover the feasings on your points for ease in threading through eyelets. "Feasings" are the frayed ends of point cord. Suitable for clothing points or arming points. We offer these for those who wish to make your own points - you supply the cord, just glue the chapes on, or drill and rivet.

Copied directly from an original in our collection; also documented in the Museum of London's "Dress Accessories" book.

1-1/2" (40mm) long, 1/8" (3mm) diameter. Copper alloy. Sold only in packages of 12.  -$6.00 per package
