You'd like to attend but its just to far to travel to sit and watch the fighters?
Well fret no more!
Since I have most of the fighting stuff worked out I have just about finalized all the fighting stuff and am looking to start sorting out stuff for the non fighters to do during the day.
I plan to ask several folks (both from within and outside the SCA) to come out and show case their skills/knowledge.
I am also looking into approaching some of the local university history professors who 'specialize' in Viking age stuff to come give lectures as well.
I have even contacted a local fellow who does falconry to see if he is interested in doing a demonstration.
Which leads me to announce that I am looking for others to teach classes as well.
If you are interested in coming out and want to teach an applicable class (all we ask is that it is Viking Age oriented) let me know and I will pencil you in!
