Anyone do Latin motto translations?

Got some new fighters/camp followers in my household, and one of the rules is they must have a "motto" to be put on their banner when they become members.
However, the person who had did our previous Latin translations has moved to Japan a while back and we lost contact with him.

Does anyone know someone who does simple translations?

Thanks!

Why do your camp followers need banners?

Just taking a guess on this, but probably to make their camp look more medieval. I love walking around Pennsic and seeing the well laid out period camps with personal banners flying in the wind.

I have to second Morgan's question.

I'm making an assumption here that this is a historical based camp because of the board that it's on.

Why do campfollowers need mottos & banners? Knights and Lords I get, but regular followers with personal banners?

They're pretty. There isn't enough heraldry in the SCA on display. And, it's a rule of my house that any armigerous fighter have a banner to display with their arms upon it in our encampment, and any knight/royal peer must have a battle standard as well. Our group really is not soldiers following a single lord, but a company of gentlemen travelling the tourney path.
This was obviously the wrong forum to ask this in.

Agreed, and bravo for your attempt to help make the illusion more accurate and detailed. Those who asked why, only detract from the question. It would be like answering "but why" anytime someone askes a question about armour over on the armour forum. Other than that, sorry I cannot help you with your translation, good luck, great idea.

Whole bunch of Latin sayings and mottos. You should be able to pick out some usable ones.
