I was lurking elsewhere this morning when I found this:

Andrew Villalon, L.J. & D.J. Kagay (eds.). "The Hundred Years War. A Wider Focas." Boston: Brill, (2005). ISBN: 9004139699. Price: $166.00.

This book is a collection of essays, which I suspect are written for those folks who take the subject seriously. Brill does not usually publish "introductory" books. This work is held by 111 libraries, according to WorldCat.
