Leather Helms (X-Posted from Design&Construction)

Post by RenJunkie »

I was searching for other things this morning and ran across a thread talkling about a 5 layer thick leather helm that was jokingly mentioned to be bulletproof. I believe Egfroth posted about it. Maybe Vendel era. Now, I have tried searching "leather", "helms", and "leather helms". I get a white screen staring dumbly back at me. Now I am curious about this sort of hat, and if anyone has good leads on people who have made them (the really heavy maybe combat worthy sort) on here, I would appreciate it. And if you know any way to make the search function give me answers on this, please let me know. I get frustrated by the white screen of death.

(EDIT): here's a link to the thread:

Thanks,
Christopher
