Is there anyone on the Archive who works directly with said museum?
I ask as Id like to know more about an item that Hrothny/Jorvikwoman brought to my attention this morning

"This tensioner for a guy-rope, made from whalebone, was found on the Brough of Birsay in Orkney. It would have been used to keep the proper tension on an a guy-rope, probably for a tent. The object dates from between 850 and 1000."
Id like to know what led them to beleive it was associated with a tent.
