Fantastic! I see you've added the leather edging to the top of the breyette to get it to behave. What are the small pieces of leather at the apex of your sleeves for?

And thank you for providing another pieced shot of the sleeves; hopefully it'll prove useful for those of us who follow in your footsteps.

What are the small pieces of leather at the apex of your sleeves for?

I used the sleeves over the weekend but did not have time to make the fabric shrug like we have been discussing in Mac's thread. I just pointed them via the leathers and quickly stitched them to the voider mounting holes in my HE doublet. This worked reasonably well but I hope to get the shrug made soon and give that a try.



The sleeves worked well. May need to trim them back a bit at the wrist but I will wait until I have them mounted on the fabric to double check. I may even go back a put a bit more taper in the forearms.

I did not get to use the brayette
It is a bit big and needs to to trimmed to size.
This is easy to do but I just ran out of time and had to fall back on using a mail skirt I had.

It was a great event, got to meet many people I have only known online.
There also was some very nice armour.

We are working to make this a must go to event for medieval living history folks.
