My kit hasn't really been evolving, so I'm still dressed a-pretty much like this:
That green tabard is disguising my ugly-as-sin plastic breastplate. I've ordered a stainless steel peascod breast and back (after much hemming and hawing), but I don't expect to get it until Christmas.
It's my out-of-armor kit that has been changing a lot. I'm a tailor first and a fighter second. So when I got my AoA, I looked like this:

Just have to show off this awesome helm.
That is AA's Eldric how drove up from Kentucky to drop off the bed I traded him full finger gaunts for and ended up squiring for the joust. He was the BEST squire on the field by far, and is a natural for the joust.

What the hell, all the cool kids are doing it...
Just small changes. New tunic (longer), spear pennant, and new hidden body armour.

Take the ladder out, make it one of those inspirational posters with the caption
COOLNESS
When a picture is worth 10,000 words
Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but we rather have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit. -Aristotle

Small suggestion Olaf? (BTW, your kit is great If you put something on your upper bar on your grill to minimize it's appearance. I tried black spray on tool dip but that didn't stick much to stainless. Black grip tape is reasonable but will have to be repaired occasionally. After Pennsic, I'm going to try a chemical blackening agent I think.
OK, this sounds crazy, but it works for me to blacken bar grills...
Black Sharpie Marker.
Covers as well as paint, is inexpensive, and much easier to touch up.

I just sold my Crecy period kit. A few people have asked what I am up to so here it is. A late 14thC joust harness. Have an earlier one I am working on too. Circa 1380 or so. I reckon this kit's turn of the C. Have to shorten the maille skirt and arming cotte. Will post the earlier version a bit later. Waiting on some nice fitted greaves and new hourglass gauntlets.

hey Andrew, I didnt think besagews or uncovered cuirasses were accurate for late (1375+) 14thC?
In other news heres what I'm in currently, there is alot that I'm not happy with, cuirass needs a full rebuild, new legs, new arms and new gaunts... Oh and a new helmet. hmm that doesn't leave much really.... Also need a new jupon after the last was stolen by a deadbeat ex-housemate.
Taken on the weekend at History Alive.
And 2 weeks ago at Abbey.

No man, this one's more turn of the C give or take 5 years or so.
My earlier period harness (Circa 1376) is still in need of a correctly sized jupon as mine was suited to the earlier period Crecy kit I just sold. I would not wear the besagews with the 1376 rig.
