looking for a good leather worker for an interesting garment

As the title says...

This is for a garment, not for hardened armor.

Any ideas?

I WAS going to recommend Mark Beaby but i think he has gone out of business. I tried contacting him several times over the last year to no avail, his site is down too.

His really are the best, pricey, but the best.

I wish I could say that i could afford the best.. but at most I can afford quite good...:)

I am trying to decide whether I need the full coat, or just a sleeveless one.
If I had access to a leather sewing machine I would attempt to make one myself.

here are a couple of pics of what I might be looking for:

yeah that's a bit out of my price range.... that's like $2000 US or something.

I can supply the leather too...and pattern.. I really just need somebody to sew it.

you might want to try searching some of the 18th century forums and the "buckskinning" / mountain man forums...Muzzleloader magazine also has a good links page. They tend to deal more with historical leather clothing than we do.
