anyone seen any patterns for making a Corazzina Breastplate? (if you've never heard of it here's an example. http://www.varmouries.com/tran_06.html )
Any help would be appreciated,
Cheers

I would like to thank everyone who's added to this thread.
I've begone this project and I will post photos soon BUT I'm not willing to waste leather making the backing for the plates.
Any ideas on a pattern to face the corazzina's plates?

When I made one, I just placed the shaped plates on some material and traced around them. Then once the fabric was attached to the plates I trimed it down to help reduce the bulk. You could try a "dry fit" then sew the fabric to make it really nice.
