It looks like it was made to SCA regs at first glance (who else uses bargrills?). At the current price, its almost worth taking a chance...

It looks like it could pass for a Macedonian phalangite's helm. Something about the shaping of the back of the skull, the cheek plates and the scroll-ends to the nasal band looks very Peter Connolly to me.

lol I think I'm bidding against you, I shoulda checked here again before I started. Taking a chance, but somehow I doubt it's going to fit me.

Just judging by what it looks like I would give it a 95% chance of being SCA legal. Not a bad risk at all for the money.

If one of you guys got it post a pic once you have it cleaned up.
