I'm kinda suprised that a LOL'SCA picture site hasn't been created yet, some of the photos all over the archive would fit perfectly.

Here's a link to a page with some ancient photos from Meridies.

That is me marshalling, at the ripe old age of 17. This is circa 1985 or so.

Asbrand,

Do you recall if there were any Black Diamonders there from Atlantia at that event?

The helmet on the right looks a lot like a relic from Black Diamond known as The Helm of Ishmeal. I know a lot of Black Diamonders went to Meridian events back in the day.

On second glance I don't think it is. That one seems to have some sort of rondell on the front

Sir Iain from here in Caer Mear used to do that too until they changed the rules and made him wear shoes. (that was before my time)

Not sure who the Knight on the right is but that is Duke Olaf Askoldsson on the left in the black. I remember that helm and armor from back in the mid 80s.

So here is a pic about 10 or so years after the first pic I posted. (roughly 84 or 85)

Whitewolf Sr. on the left facing Sir Arik Alton who used to be a master and still wears exactly the same kit today.
