Lamellar and Bazubands for sale (bazubands sold)

Post by NeeSayer »

I have a nice set of lamellar already assembled up for sale. The vest is currently made for someone with a 38" chest but with the beauty of lamellar can be adjusted easily. It is wax hardened leather with a beautiful natural brown color to it. The vest was normally worn underneath a tunic so there is very little scratching to the scales. Looking for 200 plus shipping.

Also for sale is a pair of HotW bazubands. They are a little beaten up but still very serviceable. I will have measurements on them later today. They are a nice red with viking inspired brasswork. Let's say 75 or best offer plus shipping.

Just so it is known ahead of time I do not take paypal because they have screwed me over previously so please be prepared to either mail a check or money order (the latter preferred). I will try to have better pictures up later today.

Are those the older leather HoTW bazubands or the newer ones? Dibs (and I have to discuss with wife) on them if they are the leather ones. I would need some measurements on them before I fully commit. Thanks.

They are the older full leather ones instead of the new plastic thingys he made for a little bit. I will have measurements when I get home this afternoon.

Sure am. It was a bar brawl thing, my opponent had a big rattan spoon or something like that.

Jackie, yup. That picture is from before the hospitaller tunic was done. Still love the helm and been recommending ya to all my friends.

Onto business.... same thing as before, I will have the measurements later this afternoon on the bazubands.

The lamellar is still undibbed from what I can tell.

My forearms as 11 1/2" long and 13 1/2 at the widest point, but the bazubands are worn on the tighest setting. They are also just a tad bit long for me (they come just shy of the wrist bone, doesnt hinder anything, just a preference).

So they would probably best fit someone same size as me to a little bit bigger.

Just a little bump to see if the original dibbers are still interested and to say the lamellar is still available.

Yes I am still interested. I will measure my elbow to wrist when I get home, I think it is around 11, but I wear a low profile plastic elbow under my bazuband currently which should make up for the other 1/2 inch.

Yes I will take them, I think they will be a little bit long, but I really loved HoTW armor. PM sent.

Why are you holding a big block of cheese?

It was a bar brawl fight. If ya look at the other fighter he is holding a rattan wine bottle. There was stuff like a rattan spork, the wine bottle, wedge of cheese, a hot dog (complete with yellow duct tape for mustard), etc etc etc.

P.S. Lamellar is still available, make an offer.

Little nudge for the lamellar, and price cut on it... 180 or make an offer.

It does include extra scales to adjust the size if needed.
