Armour and Castings Review

I give them 5/5

Three weeks ago I ordered some brass buttons, a belt buckle and a strap end from Armour and Castings. Their prices were very reasonable, and shipping was only $10 on a $55 order, from Ukraine to the states. Their website said to expect a 2 week delay between my order and shipping, as they don't keep many pieces in stock.

I was happily surprised to get my order only three weeks after I placed it; I was expecting to wait at least four.

The quality of the castings is good for the price I paid. The back of the strap end (the part that doesn't show) is a little rough where they very quickly ground off some jagged bits, but that doesn't matter to me as it's never going to show. The fronts of the strap and buckle are nicely finished. It's not phenomenal work, but it's good work, and for paying only about $6/ea I am very satisfied.

The buttons are nice and well polished (and cheaper than many others I have seen on the market).

I will be pointing all my friends toward A&C for cast bronze fittings.
