That's pretty nice.

In one or the other of Benvenuto Cellini's books he describes how he did similar work in gold. It was a cope clasp for the Pope I believe; with angels in high relieve and God the Father sitting on a throne with a big ass gem stone.

I love some of the kettles and vessels. He uses the same technique I do filling the piece and doing the work from the outside! .... I can't wait for my damn arm to heal! Very inspiring, Thanks for posting.

I normally dont like the copper look... This is a rare exception. Very very nice piece. His whorled vessel is exceptionally nice though. :)

Hole heartedly agree with you there. I would have trouble with the clay model. :shock:
