Me on the right in the black scale...much to my Knight's chagrin, it looks very much the same when he helped me put it together back in 1997/98.

ABS knees held in place via volleyball knees, the splinted vambrace and 3 piece elbow have since been replaced with a bazu....I have, however, been told that I need to upgrade my stuff...almost done with it!

Lamellar (courtesy of Polar Bear Forge) is done, as are the new hidden legs. New Demi's done, gaiters are in progress, and new helm is gonna take a bit until he is settled and there is room to work.

Luxury.

$45 barrel helm from Karl von Sussen back when he actually made armor, bits of carpet and sports equipment taped here there, and, I think, one of the first House Von Drachenclaue "Disco" tabards, so named because of the Heraldic silver lamé. Feast of Simple Fair, Barony of Fennbryc, East, circa 1988?

This is a full-contact martial sport where twenty-year-old athletes can routinely get thrashed by fifty-year-olds with a gut and no knees
