Measurements? Also it has no avantail attached? I thought I saw pictures with one.

That's the mild steel one. He made that one first and made this as after that one.

But I'm sure he'd be happy to add one. :)

I'm pretty interested in that if it fits ... waiting for measurements.

No that is the Stainless one that was commissioned, but it has no avantail as the owner was going to use titanium. Too close to home, so I do not want to step on someone's kit. I think it would be bad form to snap up a helm that someone is basing a kit around when they are less than 50 miles away. Damn sexy helm though!

Right right, poorly phrased. I meant that the one made in this post is the stainless one...the one you were thinking (with the aventail attached) was the mild steel variant. I had assumed that to be the case.

Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing his kit when it's made. He's a intimading guy and his kits have always looked awesome...but I might run away screaming if he shows up in this helm... :)

Gotcha... multi tasking with a low caffeine level today so my comprehension is beyond "Arrr duh", but not by much. ;) I too cannot wait to see this helm in action.

"The face plate is made of brass, riveted over exactly the same plate of stainless steel."

I would be worried of missing shots more than it deforming.

Releasing dibs. Got additional measurements and the side of the head was too short for me.

Too bad. This is a gorgeous piece of work.
