ok.... this topic is designed to focous more on the aesthetics/ design of anti bounceback/penetration devices, rather than people pointing fingers on who is responsible for safety.
I have not seen the abd's, does any one have a picture (rendered or real?)

PS had a thought last night. safety fletching....arrows manufactured with pre cut grooves for fletch. the "feathers" are of a material withthe following properties:
weather/wear resistant
made of fibres oriented at an obtuse angle with regard to the longer part of the shaft
ie: ______///
capable of extending the angle (ie when shot, as the fletches cross the bow, they lie flat
incapabel of reducing the angle (ie if attempting to penetrate your visor, the safety fletch stops penetration.
Abd's (APD's to some)
