I've seen a set before, at war. Honestly I wasn't to impressed. You can get aluminum, brass or pewter of similar design for roughly the same price.

You might want to give them a call H. These have been on his site for awhile now and I have never seen them listed as 'in stock'. That being said, I've been steering clear of RQP for a few years now do to a severe downturn in quality.

Is building your own not an option?

It doesn't seem like a hard thing to do compartively to many or most armouring projects. I could be totally wrong though

you could probably make a hilt and pommel with some scrap leather, if you really needed to pimp your kit on a budget....

For the pommel, make two discs with tabs, almost like langets, protruding from them. Then, take a strip of leather and stitch it around the circumference of the discs, leaving a hole where the langets are for the insertion of the rattan sword's tang. Decorate as you see fit. Boil/glue-harden as needed. Throw a bolt through the centre of the discs, or just fiber-tape the bastard on and there you go. Repeat the process for the hilt.

Advantage: You can paint/decorate the leather in any way you see fit. Cost: whatever pieces of leather you or your housemates have lying around.

This is what I'm going with as soon as I get my gauntlets back from my squire brother, who's servicing them.

Once I get the Knotwolf helm and the Calontir Trim Lamellar paid off I should have a better budget to deal with:)

This is what I do for my hilts, I use 12-13 oz leather glued in layers thne carves to shape, once shaped I cover with very thin goat or calf skin scraps the results work wells and last a long time.

You have me confused with someone else. I make my swords almost exactly like dongal does. Only my grips are a bit shorter than his.

No RUSH for me, to many projects to do before Gulf.
