I really like your mace head. I wish you made it out of steel so I could weld it on a steel pipe. Make sure that puppy would never come off.

the hole is slightly tapered so that a wedge can go into it. Same as how an axe or hoe head is designed. Maybe not totally indestructable but very secure.

You can also drill a hole through the side and fit a solid rivet through it.
