LOL
Once, without thinking, I had a kaftan, hat and trousers all made out of the same material.

Red felted wool

The first time I wore it I got two responses

1) Hey Santa! Ho Ho Ho!
or
2) HEY KOOL-AID!

Since then I have tried real hard to never wear all three at once again

As a matter of fact, we do!

These are made of wool felt lined in linen. The sizable brim can be made in variety of faux fur or real fur. The hat can be made single or parti-colored. Embellishments and beading can also be added. These are very warm in the snow and quite comfy. Prices range from $75 and up depending on complexity and embellishments.

Halv,

There is a lady in Poland who makes some amazing pieces. I've been wanting to order from her for some time. If you place an order, let me know and I will go in with you on it. Check her work out here:

Halv,

Yes, there is someone who makes Rus hats...I'd have to look up the name, but they're in An Tir...Seattle, I think.

Here's a link to the maker of mine:

http://intriguingdesigns.net/default.htm

Even though they don't show up on this website, they still make them.
