Armor for sale or trade

Post by marcus decrius savius »

Hey everyone, I am changing my persona to a byzantine one. I have a lorica segmentata that I would either like to sell or trade. I am low on cash as the wife is pregnant so trade would be great too. :)

I am in need of
chainmail shirt
boots fitting a byzantine persona
helm
legs or arms
gambeson that would fit with a byzantine kit
gorget

so if you have any of these that you may trade for this segmentata or would like to purchase it let me know! Thanks everyone!
Marcus

here is a pic of the segmentata

You should post some details of the Seg if you want some responses. Details about the construction, type of metal, maker, size etc. would go a long way towards you getting valid responses.

it will fit a up to about a 46 in chest or so, I have a 38 inch chest now , and a gambeson underneath so one of the reasons I'm trying to sell or trade it is I no longer fit in it! :) , I am in the Air Force now, and after basic no longer fit in most of my armor so I decided to change it up to a byzantine kit. lol 8) anyway it is handmade by myself and a local armorer, it is 16 gauge mild, I decided to go with the 16 gauge rather than the 18 gauge because it wont be dented very easily. Most of the fittings are handmade, but I did buy the bosses and hinges from Jack22 here on the archive. I only got the chance to fight in it about 4 times before I went for the military and it wouldn't fit lol, anyway but yea, any other questions or anything let me know. Thanks!

Marcus

p.s I am just looking to get enough out of it to get me a butted Icefalcon mail haubergeon.

I've received the armor, and I've gotta say that I got a great deal!

Thanks, Marcus! I'm very pleased with the transaction.

Awesome, I am glad, I also forgot to send my small battle repair kit with it, I will hopefully tomorrow or saturday, it has rivets, a few bosses, some straps and some oil. I will let you know when I send it.

Yup. Now I have to start looking for a helm. My Valsgarde just isn't going to look right atop this segmentata.
