WTB Hjalmr Helm

Post by durbin »

Hello! I'd like a helm similiar to
http://www.flickr.com/photos/21215018@N07/3799600876/

My measurements are 25" at the brow. 25.5" at the nose. 12" from top of the head to shoulder roughly. Yea, neck is only 2" length hehe.

Please let me know any price information and procedure. You come highly recommended!!

Thanks,
Durbin.

I have one. Alas, it is too small for you. Have you PM'd Hjalmr?

I was told to just make a post with the data and wait for a response. I guess it would be a great deal more logical to PM him as well!

It does seem more efficient to go straight to the source. :) That's how I got my helm from hjalmr. I finally got to test mine, btw, and aside from some mild deafening, it works great. Although, I am thinkin' earplugs next time.

There's tons of ways to kill the ring. The ring itself being a good sign of solid construction. Earplugs will take away from your battlefield awareness. An aventail looks great, and is very effective, but can be very costly. A leather thong wrapped around the bottom of your grill can do a great job as well, but could mess up the look you are going for. There are spray on products that do a great job, and are hidden inside the helm. And of course, you can drill a hole in an unobtrusive place and put a loose set rivet of the same material in there.

The rivet is quick, cheap, and easy.

Hjalmr seems to post later in the day. You should hear something from him later.
