I believe that this one has a top mounted tickler. A simple little see saw arrangement that lifts the string over the shelf.

Freiman has the right of it, it's a notch lock mechanism. I prefer those for Combat Archery as there is no fiddling with a roller nut etc...

I think you are thinking of a folding stock. Bayonet lug is where the bayonet attaches to the barrel.

I've been contemplating adding a laser pointer just to complete the joke, don't know if anyone would get wadded up over it though.

Put an EOtech on it
Then people can really rant about combat archers and their sniping
Anyway cool idea

To be a real 'black rifle' equivalent it needs a forward pistol grip, a folding stock and the dreaded 30 round magazine. Not certain how you are going to hang 30 bolts from it but the stock mods should be pretty easy and I would DEFINITELY put a (removable) laser sight on it. Then you need a little dummy switch for single/burst/auto with the auto scribbled on in red crayon like Wille-E-Coyote modded it.
Enjoy your new toy!

Aye, I was kind of quoting a gun grabbing politician. She wasnt even sure what she was trying to ban. They asked her what a barrel shroud was and she said "isnt that the shoulder thing, that goes up"
I wasnt sure if anyone would catch that.
