Looking for Illumination

Post by Ingvarr »

I'm trying to find an illumination that I've seen before. It's a battle scene with a knight on horseback, next to a castle. There's a sword in his visor and blood spraying.

I think it is in the Mannesse Codex, but I don't have time to go through all of these:

I found the link on Karen Lardottir's site, of course. ;)

Perfect, thank you. I didn't remember it perfectly but this is the one.

If you have a spare 23 million dollars (14m pounds) you could get these.

The pet squirrel shown in one of those is absolutely awesome. I'm so going to tame a squirrel and take it to events with me!

I've seen trained squirrels, but be sure there isn't any legal problem with capturing and keeping a "wild animal" in captivity. I'm not saying there IS any such problem, but I know that there are certain animals that are illegal to capture or that require a license.

We had a pet squirrel as a kid. They are about as trainable as a rat. They also poop everywhere. That said, they are a fun pet.

If you are capturing a wild one, be aware that, at least in SoCal, they are a prime carrier of bubonic plague; be careful and de-flea it.
