Oh Raymond?

Post by Rhyance »

Has anybody heard from Sir Raymond the Quiet? I've an order pending with him; I got the autoresponse when I sent in the order. Then a month went by and I never heard from him. Then I sent an email. So far, still nothing.

Is he all right? It's a low-cost order, it won't hurt if I never get it, but I am a bit concerned about the man.

Hmm, this is kind of one reason I dont order from any armorers or merchants, that I know go to the big wars in the SCA, between Feb and March and Middle of July thru August.

Havent had anything happen bad, but anytime I have ordered during these time frames, my stuff is almost always later than what I normally get things by them, usually by a month.

But also, if I ask, they usually respond, or someone watching the shop while they are gone, letting me know why. Which is uaually they are either packing everything up for travel to war, at the war, or unpacking everything from the war. :p So I will normally give them 2 to 3 weeks before I order after they get back.

Just my normal rule of thumb.

Well, I emailed to ask about my order. I guess I'll email again.
