I've got a brand new, never worn spring steel breastplate with stop rib for sale. As you can see in the picture, it is strapped but the leather has never been punched. It is just a little bit too big for me - my loss, hopefully your gain!
I am 5'11", ~190 lbs. I wear a 41R suit coat. The breastplate is the right length for me but is too big around - my arms catch on the sides when I move them back and forth. Crossing my arms across my chest is fine.
I'd like to get what I paid back out of this - $350. I'll cover shipping in the CONUS.

Hi there, Nice breastplate, It looks too short by an inch or 2 on you, Not the end of the world it will just give you more range of motion. You can just throw it over a log and slowly bend the sides around it to reduce the waist size if you want to wear it. Normally these just overlap the backplates so it wouldnt matter. Or you could just cut the sides shorter after you bend them in if you wanted.

Dunno, man, its spring steel. Probably been tempered already and not really workable anymore, not by the average Joe anyway.
