Made this for an upcoming event. I didn't have any particular design in mind, I started just trying to make a cover for a pop up sunshade, and it kind of morphed into this.
In the end, I think it looks cool, but is there any documentation for this kind of style?
The picture doesn't show it very well. Basically, it is a 10' square on the top with a peaked roof, tapering down on the walls to a 20' square withe the corners cut off so that the footprint is more of an octagon shape.
Looks like a modified version of one of Panther's Regent tents.
Not sure of the shear documentation on that specific shape. But, it is certainly period plausible.

(on Pennsic) I know that movie. It is the 13th warrior. A bunch of guys in armour that doesn't match itself or anybody elses, go on a trip and argue and get drunk and get laid and then fight Tuchux.
